Effective date: 30 May 2026 Pump Street Tech operates Lumen.
Lumen has no accounts and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
We collect anonymous usage data (screens visited, time in app, article counts) to improve the app, and functional data (search queries, URLs, topic IDs) only when you use those features. We do not collect your name, email, phone, or location through the app.
Lumen is not aimed at children under 13.
What we collect

Publisher websites opened in the reader may use their own cookies and tracking — see their policies, not ours.
We do not collect: contact details, precise location, contacts, payment info, or advertising IDs for cross-app tracking.
How we use & share data
Data is used to run Lumen, prevent abuse, and improve the product — not for marketing profiles.
Processors: PostHog (analytics, EU), Amazon Web Services (hosting, UK/EU). Server logs may briefly include queries or URLs.
